New trip, new blog.
I am getting incredibly excited to head on my seemingly biennial journey (I've been abroad the summers of '06, '08, and soon to be '10)! For the spring semester I'll be in Paris, France, and then come June, you will find me in Bangalore, India.
My host family information just arrived the other day, which definitely makes it feel more real. I still have about 2 1/2 weeks until I leave, but I'm much more anxious to hit the road (or sky?) now that I know what part of the city I'll be going to! I'll be living with a retired secretary and another American girl from my program in the 13th arrondissement à Paris. The apartment's on the left bank, about a 15 to 20 minute walk from the Luxembourg gardens and the Montparnasse area. Guess where I will be doing my homework on sunny days this spring?
That's about all that I have to say for now--time to go hang out with TU friends while I'm still chilling in Oklahoma!
